Prescribing Psychotropic Medication
Psychotropic medication may be prescribed based on an assessment. If needed a referral may be made to the appropriate health provider for prescribing psychotropic medication.
Counseling
Are you unable to come to our office? Do you not feel comfortable about visiting a counselor’s office? Do you want to keep your counseling sessions private, and not let anybody else know? Do you live in a remote place where counseling services are inaccessible? If you said yes to any of these questions, our Online counseling service at BRK Psychiatric Mental Health Services, LLC is a great alternative to face-to-face counseling.
Our teletherapy will focus on behavioral health problems for adults such as depression, anxiety, caregiver stress and burden, grief, domestic violence (e.g., intimate partner violence, adult victims of abuse, family violence, etc.), workplace violence, and spiritual abuse (e.g., church hurt). Other venues of counseling will be face-to-face, phone, and conference calls – based on the individual need of the client.
NOTE: Online mental health services are not appropriate for people who are suicidal, self-injuring, homicidal, or who have mental health issues that require more intense care than one session per week. If you feel severely depressed, suicidal, or you think you are about to hurt yourself or someone else, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room or clinic immediately and ask for help.
